stalwart beauty // explained

stalwart (adj.) having rugged physical strength; loyal; dependable

beauty (n.) grace, elegance, exquisiteness, splendor

Why on earth did I combine these two words?

Well, I’m not talking about beauty in a fluffy and fleeting way; I’ve found we can choose to see beauty all around us, everywhere, in spite of and surpassing a possibly expected despair.

A stalwart beauty is a flower growing in a cracked rock, human dignity rising out of a past of despair, and the conscious daily choice to seek out beauty all around you. It’s there.
